Clonakilty, or “Clon” as the locals call it, is a beautifully vibrant small town on the coast of West Cork surrounded by beaches and areas of historic and natural significance.

It has a well-earned reputation as a centre for high-quality food production, being the home of the world-reknowned Clonakilty Blackpudding as well as much loved brands like Irish Yoghurts, Shannonvale Foods, Clona Dairies and much more which serve its many restaurants.

The locals have a strong sense of community and if you’re visiting during the summer, you’ll likely come across one of the many cultural events held here like Clonakilty Agricultural Show, the Old Time Fair, Clonakilty Street Carnival, South of Ireland Band Championships or the Clonakilty Guitar Festival.
